\"\"There is one month left until the debut of this exhibition event of the program
\nTimisoara 2023 – European Capital of Culture.
\nTimisoara. September 4, 2023. Hosted by the National Museum of Art in Timi\u0219oara from 30 September 2023 to 28 January 2024, the exhibition Br\u00e2ncu\u0219i: Romanian Sources and Universal Perspectives is funded by the Timi\u0219 County Council and organized by the National Museum of Art Timi\u0219oara, the Art Encounters Foundation and the French Institute of Romania, with Banca Transilvania as main sponsor. It is one of the most anticipated events of this autumn in Central and Eastern Europe and the highlight of the cultural program Timisoara 2023 – European Capital of Culture.<\/p>\n

Starting September 4, tickets can be purchased on the website of the exhibition “Br\u00e2ncu\u0219i: Romanian sources and universal perspectives”, brancusi-2023.info.<\/p>\n

In order to ensure an enjoyable viewing experience and the safety of the works on display, tickets can be reserved for pre-defined times, subject to availability. In addition to the tickets that can be booked online in advance, a number of tickets for that day will be available each morning, which can be purchased directly from the ticket office of the National Art Museum Timisoara.<\/p>\n

The following types of tickets can be purchased:
\n\u25cf Exhibition “Br\u00e2ncu\u0219i: Romanian sources and universal perspectives” – 88 RON;
\n\u25cf The exhibition “Br\u00e2ncu\u0219i: Romanian sources and universal perspectives” and all other MNArT exhibitions – 100 RON;
\n\u25cf Exhibition “Br\u00e2ncu\u0219i: Romanian sources and universal perspectives” for students (with student card) – 22 RON;
\n\u25cf Exhibition “Br\u00e2ncu\u0219i: Romanian sources and universal perspectives” for pensioners (with pension check) – 55 RON;
\n\u25cf Free of charge for journalists, press and media (with prior accreditation), pre-school and school children, and
\nteachers or accompanying teachers (1 accompanying teacher per 10 pre-school\/school children), employees of public museums in
\nRomania, members of the Timisoara Association of Accredited Guides, members of AICA, ICOM, ICOMOS, UAPR, people with disabilities and their companions;<\/p>\n

All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the National Art Museum in Timisoara to support its infrastructure and projects.<\/p>\n

The exhibition will be open as follows:
\nSeptember 30, 2023 – January 28, 2024
\nWednesday – Sunday: 10:00 – 20:00
\nMondays and Tuesdays, as well as December 24-26 and 31, 2023 and January 1-2, 2024: closed<\/p>\n

The exhibition also benefits from an attractive dedicated website, brancusi-2023.info, which invites you to discover the Brancusi universe, information about the renowned curator Doina Lemny and the bilingual Romanian-English volume, Brancusi: Romanian sources and universal perspectives, interesting articles about the artist’s life and work or what the great personalities say about the artist who made an enormous contribution to the renewal of the plastic language of modern sculpture. Practical information about tickets, visiting rules, the mediation program and the project team are also presented.<\/p>\n

For Romanian and foreign visitors in Timisoara, this exhibition is a unique opportunity to discover and admire the works of an artist who has succeeded in valorizing the cultural heritage of his country, imbuing it with universal values. The exhibition “Br\u00e2ncu\u0219i: Romanian sources and universal perspectives” is organized by the National Art Museum Timi\u0219oara, Art Encounters Foundation and the French Institute of Romania, and is funded by the Timis County Council.<\/p>\n
