There is one month left until the debut of this exhibition event of the program
Timisoara 2023 – European Capital of Culture.
Timisoara. September 4, 2023. Hosted by the National Museum of Art in Timișoara from 30 September 2023 to 28 January 2024, the exhibition Brâncuși: Romanian Sources and Universal Perspectives is funded by the Timiș County Council and organized by the National Museum of Art Timișoara, the Art Encounters Foundation and the French Institute of Romania, with Banca Transilvania as main sponsor. It is one of the most anticipated events of this autumn in Central and Eastern Europe and the highlight of the cultural program Timisoara 2023 – European Capital of Culture.

Starting September 4, tickets can be purchased on the website of the exhibition “Brâncuși: Romanian sources and universal perspectives”, brancusi-2023.info.

In order to ensure an enjoyable viewing experience and the safety of the works on display, tickets can be reserved for pre-defined times, subject to availability. In addition to the tickets that can be booked online in advance, a number of tickets for that day will be available each morning, which can be purchased directly from the ticket office of the National Art Museum Timisoara.

The following types of tickets can be purchased:
● Exhibition “Brâncuși: Romanian sources and universal perspectives” – 88 RON;
● The exhibition “Brâncuși: Romanian sources and universal perspectives” and all other MNArT exhibitions – 100 RON;
● Exhibition “Brâncuși: Romanian sources and universal perspectives” for students (with student card) – 22 RON;
● Exhibition “Brâncuși: Romanian sources and universal perspectives” for pensioners (with pension check) – 55 RON;
● Free of charge for journalists, press and media (with prior accreditation), pre-school and school children, and
teachers or accompanying teachers (1 accompanying teacher per 10 pre-school/school children), employees of public museums in
Romania, members of the Timisoara Association of Accredited Guides, members of AICA, ICOM, ICOMOS, UAPR, people with disabilities and their companions;

All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the National Art Museum in Timisoara to support its infrastructure and projects.

The exhibition will be open as follows:
September 30, 2023 – January 28, 2024
Wednesday – Sunday: 10:00 – 20:00
Mondays and Tuesdays, as well as December 24-26 and 31, 2023 and January 1-2, 2024: closed

Practical information about tickets, visiting rules, the mediation program and the project team are also presented.
